One of its primary functions is to help the body maintain homeostasis. Post and Pre Clinical research has shown that CBD can be effective in the relief of:
Anxiety
Insomnia
Pain
Arthritis
Crohn's
GERD
Movement Disorders
Epilepsy
And more.
How does CBD work?
The body produces neurotransmitters such as endocannabinoids, which bind with CB 2 receptors, like a lock-and-key-mechanism. We have CB receptors all over the body which helps with general well being.
Can KiriCann CBD make me high?
CBD is one of more than 120 cannabinoids. Unlike other cannabinoids — such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) — CBD does not produce a euphoric "high" or psychoactive effect. This is because CBD does not affect the same receptors as THC.
What does the current Law say about CBD in South Africa?
In May 2019 the Department of Health announced that it will be reviewing its stance on CBD in June 2020, and until then it is legal to use, buy and sell CBD, within its guidelines:
THC FREE
20mg Per Day
Not classified as medicine but rather
Relief of minor symptoms
Health maintenance
General health improvement without reference to specific diseases
What is KiriCann's stance on the law?
In South Africa this dosage is 20mg dosage below global standards. Globally, consumers are finding relief from as little a 3mg a day to over 250mg per day, this is dependent on a multitude of variables. South African Laws are going to impact the trust in CBD as many consumers will believe it has no effect.

Users need to be allowed to find the optimal dosage which works for them, by increasing their personal dose to their specific needs.
